The House of Dark Matter is a creative collective from East Anglia, United Kingdom specialising in collectible toys, screen prints, T-shirts and original artworks. In time, all our work will be available to buy through this web site or at our exhibitions. At the moment we are in the process of launching the site so please bear with us.

We are Illustrator/Artists Roobarb, Artist and Cartoonist Spookfish and Artist and Crafts Woman Ginger Pop. You can find out more about us on our artist’s profiles. We are based in Norwich in Norfolk and have been working together on projects for over five years.

With The House of Dark Matter we will be exploring our combined loves of collectibles inspired by the toys we grew up with in the 1980s as well as delving into our interests in horror, science fiction and myths and legends. We aim to keep it lighthearted and fun so don’t worry if you are of a nervous disposition, there’ll be nothing to frighten you too much here (we hope!)

Our toys are one of a kind or of very limited edition sizes due to the processes involved. All work sold on this site will be produced directly by the artist. There are no middle men and nothing is outsourced. This is how we can guarantee that all our products are produced to the highest standard. Each toy comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artists involved, a collectible card and the toy itself can be signed on request. Toys come in both resin and soft goods toys.

A wide range of T-shirts will be on sale and there will also be limited editions and one-off, made to your size shirts.

Along with our printed goods and toys we will also have a space on the site dedicated to selling and displaying our artist’s original pieces. Keep checking in to see if there’s anything that takes your fancy.

We aim to have ongoing exhibitions which we will be announcing on the website, Twitter and Facebook. We like an exhibition to be a fun and interactive experience so we will be providing lots of fun stuff to be part of.
